CATO

CATO is a legal argumentation system targeted at second- year law students. Our project goal was to improve the graphical interface and features of CATO based on the way law students currently learn legal argumentation in the classroom.

Palm Redesign & Retrospective of Techniques

This project's goal was to redesign the Palm Pilot's current interface. We utilized the usability inspection methods and evaluation techniques learned in our Intro to HCI Methods class to inform and validate our new design.

Based on the data collected over the course of the semester, we decided to focus on three themes in our redesign of the Palm: Consistency, labeling and freedom.

CitiStat Project

MetroViz

HCI Capstone Project: Currently working with a multi-disciplinary HCI team with the City of Pittsburgh on their CitiStat initiative, to develop a new backend and reporting interface to aid city workers in entering data and visualizing statistical information.
