As a group, we conducted guided
storytelling, we pulled out themes of what makes communication
over distance difficult,
and the role technology plays in the process. We then
put together individual models to share our findings
with the class.

Working in teams of three, we conducted
contextual interviews with professors and students
asking about their use of Blackboard in an academic
enviroment. From this data, we pulled out main concepts
and used these to derive our model of use. This model
would be used to drive the (re)design process.
